Mitchell Rait Counsel
Mitchell Rait is Counsel to Budd Larner, P.C., one of New Jersey’s largest and most prestigious law firms having been founded in 1934. He is an attorney concentrating in corporate law and litigation, insurance-related matters, employment law, and business transactions in a wide variety of industries including: hospitality, healthcare, technology, sports, entertainment and real estate.

He also serves as the Firm’s Chief Operating Officer responsible for the firm’s business management.

Mr. Rait began his career practicing labor, employment and benefits law on behalf of management handling union negotiations and elections, NLRB elections, wrongful discharge and employment discrimination cases. Today, he advises both corporate clients and individuals regarding employment terminations, sexual harassment, employment contracts, and restrictive covenants.

He is responsible for the Firm's business development activities including seminars, newsletters, public relations and trade associations. He is a frequent lecturer to numerous human resource professionals associations, technology organizations and various industry groups.
